  Friendly manager and decent service(took forever for a refill of water but food came out fast). We went for dinner and the pasta was cooked to a mush. The baked scallops were rubbery. The worst part was how expensive the bill was for the quality of the food.

  Food was very good BUT...
  
  My husband and I were passing through town in Wilmington and has seen the great reviews that Dot's had. Upon arriving we were supposed to get our names jotted down on the list to be seated. The waitresses just stared at us as they walked. They did not say hello nor acknowledged that we needed to be seated. Eventually, a man attended us (looked to be the manager or owner) and after he asked us if our names had been jotted down yet, we said no and he was bothered that no one had attended us yet. He then quickly added us to the list. An overall really kind and sweet man.
  The waitresses didn't make conversation with us and ours didn't really come by until she brought the check out of nowhere. There was a lady there who was very attentive to other customers and kind (also looked to be either the owner or manager), but was the opposite with us. My husband told her thank you and goodbye and she didn't answer him back. It just felt really awkward.
  
  In terms of service, not good at all. The food? Very yummy and in a great location as well!
